Strickland approval at 61%, says GOP poll

Ted Strickland: democraticgovernors.orgTed Strickland: democraticgovernors.orgDemocratic Gov. Ted Strickland's approval rating remains above 60 percent in a new survey taken by GOP polling firm Strategic Vision.

Strickland's approval rating stands at 61 percent in October, after two major events last month: statewide power outages and large budget cuts and freezes made by the governor.

Four of five polls taken since June show Strickland's approval rating in the 60th percentile, with only an August Rasmussen poll giving the governor 42 percent approval.
